Core Box

A 3D-printable mould for each piece exported from Core CAD: the piece's own shape as the cavity, a face left open (or a filling hole) for packing the sand, two halves with keys to line them up (or one part, when the piece draws straight out), the name on the mould.

A tight printer wants a larger clearance (0.3). A vent under the piece's lowest point lets CO₂ through the sand.

Each half lies as it prints: flat back on the bed, the parting face up. No support needed.
